Beautiful Purple Eyes

I’ve noticed there are loads of purple collections coming out in makeup these days. I wanted to do a post on purple eye makeup and how to wear it, because it can be a very tricky colour to wear.

If you have brown skin, purple might be a great color for you to wear. If you have lighter skin, it’s important to try and work the colour so you don’t look bruised.

Purple makeup looks great with brown, green, grey and some blue eyes. Here are some examples of edgy purple makeup.

Rainbow Eyes

Sometimes it can be hard to pull of rainbow colored eyes if you’re Asian, because too much eyeshadow on almond-shaped eyes can look gaudy. Here is a tutorial on how to create the look in a classy way!

White Eyeliner Pencil

Using white eyeliner pencil is a great way to open your eyes and also to help define your eyeshadow. You can use it in lots of different ways to really make your look pop. Tyra banks swears by lining the waterline of her eyes (the inside bottom rim) with white eyeliner, take a look:

Here’s a makeup video of YouTube guru MissChievous who uses white eyeliner artfully to create contrast around her eyes:

A white eyeliner is a great tool to have in your makeup arsenal if you want to make your eyes look bigger or stand out. Try it!
